Tommy and Amanda’s wedding at WestWynd Ranch was filled with meaningful, personal touches that reflected who they are at their core. Just like the two of them, every detail was thoughtful, creative, and full of heart. From Amanda’s beautifully crocheted bridal bouquet and matching cake topper to the personalized LEGO seating chart that delighted their guests, each element was intentionally chosen and lovingly crafted.
Their story began with a childhood friendship at church in their hometown, which slowly and sweetly grew into a one-of-a-kind romance. Tommy and Amanda are truly perfectly suited for one another. They are completely enamored, and it’s the kind of love that’s impossible to miss. Whether they’re traveling, gathering around a table for Dungeons & Dragons, diving into board games, or playing video games side by side, they simply love doing life together. That joy and companionship were evident in every moment of their wedding day.
They are both natural givers. Quick to serve, quick to encourage, and deeply attentive not only to each other but also to their family and friends. Throughout the day, it was clear that their kindness is rooted in the example set by the families. The love and support woven around them was unmistakable.
One of the most touching moments was Amanda’s first look with her father. When he turned and saw his daughter in her gown, the pride, joy, and deep love in his eyes said everything. Their embrace was tender and familiar, the kind that speaks of years of steady love and care. It brought tears to both Zack’s eyes and mine. Those are the moments that stay with us—the quiet, powerful reminders of what a wedding day is truly about.
Choosing WestWynd Ranch for your wedding is a decision you won’t regret. This stunning venue truly offers a seamless, “one-stop shop” experience. WestWynd is perfect for couples who want beauty, convenience, and thoughtful details all in one place. We absolutely love shooting at this location, and when you see the images from this wedding and from Allan and Audra’s wedding, it will be very obvious why.
One of the standout features is the gorgeous on-site accommodations. With ample lodging for family and friends, guests can stay together all weekend. This makes it easy to host a rehearsal dinner, prepare for the big day, and even gather for a relaxed post-wedding brunch. The setting itself is equally breathtaking. The venue includes a lush grass ceremony site beside a peaceful pond framed by reeds and tullies. It also provides a lovely space for a reception in a charming, original wooden barn full of rustic character.
As a photographer, I was especially impressed by how intentionally every part of the wedding day has been considered. The needs of the couple—and their loved ones—are clearly a top priority. The bridal suite was a personal favorite. With its crisp white walls, abundant natural light, and oversized mirror, it’s the perfect space for the bride and her entourage to get ready and soak in those special pre-ceremony moments.

Amanda crocheted her bridal bouquet!

The bridal suite at WestWynd Ranch is perfectly set up for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready.

Once again, Amanda’s skill with crochet was beautifully displayed in her bouquet.

This was such a sweet first look between a father and his only daughter.

Tommy and Amanda had a beautiful and sentimental handfasting ceremony. Significant individuals in their lives brought a unique color to the band. Such a touching moment during the ceremony.

While the guests enjoyed their cocktail hour, the bride and groom experienced an intimate dinner in the vineyard.

this was so special! Guests created individualized Leggos of themselves!

The couple sat on this couch and each table came to grab a picture with them before they had dinner. We couldn’t resist and grabbed a picture with them ourselves!

Amanda chocheted the cake topper herself!
