This Sacred Mountain Wedding featured not one, not two, but three unforgettable first looks. Each one felt incredibly meaningful because Meaghan wasn’t just a beautiful bride—she was deeply cherished by the people she loved most. From the emotional first looks with her father and brother to the intimate moment she shared with Daniel before the ceremony, every interaction was filled with genuine love and anticipation.
A Sacred Mountain Wedding provides countless beautiful settings for moments like these. The Pergola Lawn created the perfect backdrop for their private vows. The romantic wisteria draped across the trellis added an extra touch of magic as they promised forever to one another. Their gentleness and laughter reminded us of their engagement session in Balboa Park. They are such a perfect match for each other!
As breathtaking as the venue is, what truly made this Sacred Mountain Wedding so memorable were the people who filled it. Daniel and Meaghan are one of the sweetest couples we’ve had the privilege of photographing. Zack and I were honored to celebrate alongside them. Their wedding party, family, and friends reflected the same kindness and warmth. This made it obvious just how deeply everyone cared for one another. Every laugh, embrace, and happy tear reminded us that the best weddings are about the relationships that bring everyone together.
Nestled in the rolling hills of Julian, California, Sacred Mountain is truly a hidden gem for couples dreaming of an outdoor wedding. The property offers multiple beautifully appointed residences. This is perfect for family and guests can stay together throughout the weekend, creating a relaxed, retreat-like experience. From sweeping mountain views at the ceremony site to unique amenities like horseback riding, every detail encourages couples and their loved ones to slow down and enjoy every moment.
One of our favorite parts of any Sacred Mountain Wedding is the incredible variety of portrait locations throughout the property. The ceremony site boasts panoramic views that become even more breathtaking as the sun begins to set. A quiet meadow nestled in the valley glows with soft golden light for romantic portraits. The Sunset Plateau lives up to its name with unforgettable evening views. Guests can mingle during cocktail hour in the Meadow before celebrating the night away in the Courtyard. All of these locations are surrounded by majestic oak trees and stunning mountain scenery. It truly feels less like a wedding venue and more like a peaceful mountain retreat, making every Sacred Mountain Wedding an unforgettable experience.

Sacred Mountain has the most beautiful getting ready room in the Ivy House.

Meaghan had THREE first looks! One with her father, one with her brother, and one with her groom Daniel.

The Meadow if the perfect place for cocktail hour!

Dan and Meaghan chose to join their guests during cocktail hour.

We adored this couple, their family, guests, and their choice of a venue!
