We’re animal lovers too, so feel free to bring along your fur-babies—we’ll make them part of the magic! (We get it; we have three dogs and a horse ourselves!)

We also love to travel! Whether you want a local shoot in stunning San Diego or a destination session in a dream location, we’re ready to make it happen. While we’ve photographed sessions all over the country, San Diego is our home, and we feel so blessed to live in this beautiful part of the country.

Hi there! I'm so glad you're here! Let me introduce myself: I'm a San Diego-based wedding and portrait photographer with a passion for the outdoors and a love for adventure—whether it's exploring the beauty of San Diego or traveling the globe.

In addition to being a photographer, I’m also an eighth-grade history teacher! Years of working with teenagers (and occasionally feeling like I’m herding cats!) have honed my ability to connect with people in any situation. Honestly, groomsmen and middle schoolers aren’t all that different—maybe that’s why I enjoy working with both so much!

With over ten years of experience as a San Diego photographer, I specialize in weddings and engagements and family portraits. However, I also love maternity, seniors and branding.

Have questions?

An online gallery is where I will deliver all of your high resolution images to you so you can download them onto your computer. You will receive ALL of the images from your portrait session at no additional cost. From this gallery you will also be able to order any prints, canvases, albums, etc. that you wish. Not only that, but you can share the gallery with family and friends so they can download your images as well!

WHAT IS AN ONLINE GALLERY?

Through the years I have shot portraits in some really beautiful places in San Diego and elsewhere. I have created a Location Slideshow with links to blog posts showing many sessions in different locations. I also will note any special circumstances surrounding each location.

how do we choose a location for our portrait session?

As soon as you. book your your portrait session or wedding with us, I will send over my Style Guide or Bridal Guide , which is filled with lots of advice on what to wear and how to prepare. The Bridal Guide also has lots of great suggestions on how to play your wedding!

how do we know how to prepare for a portrait session or a wedding?

A retainer is basically a deposit or a down payment. It "retains" my services for the date you are requesting and guarantees I will not book another client on that date. Retainers are non-refundable since I am turning away other clients for the date you have requested.

WHAT IS A RETAINER?

First, reach out and tell me a little about yourself and what type of photography you are interested in (link is above). I will then send over my Investment Guide and if you decide you want to book, I will then send a proposal and a contract to you online. Sign, pay the retainer, and we are all set!
