A Glowy Coronado Beach Family Session

I am coming to realize that one of the greatest gifts in life is having adult children. I know that someday, God willing, I will add grandchildren to that list. However, for now I will just rejoice in having daughters who are now also my friends. What a blessing! My friend Sheryl, a fellow photographer, is blessed, upon blessed, upon blessed! She has FIVE children and three of them are married with their own babies. What a great joy it must have been for her to have them all in one place for this photo session!

As this beautiful family gathered at Coronado Beach for their photo session, Zack and I were touched by the love they all showed for each other, and especially for their mother. It is no easy task to get all of these little people dressed and in good moods! However, for the love of their mother they somehow managed to drive two hours or more to get to the beach and they still all looked amazing and were smiling. Impressive! Sheryl raised them right!

Our daughters have always talked about how they would have loved to grow up with cousins and as I watched these little ones run around together I realized that they would get to live that dream. SEVEN cousins! Almost all of them are girls and the eldest is a boy. He has a lot of cousins to watch out for and love. If Sheryl’s blessings continue, who knows how many more little ones will be joining the family in the future. I am so happy for her!

An extra blessing is that Sheryl is an exceptional photographer, specializing in weddings and NEWBORNS! So, as each of these babies have joined the family, I am sure they must have had beautiful images taken of them. Her work speaks for itself! Although I have never worked with Sheryl on a shoot, we did meet at a styled shoot and I was drawn to her friendly personality. I am sure her clients must have been drawn to her character as well. She is so kind, gentle, and patient. Perfect especially for newborn photography.
