Wil & Alex – Balboa Park Engagement

It’s amazing when you find your soul mate and it is so obvious that Wil and Alex have achieved this heavenly goal! They are so perfect for each other! When I asked for and received images from these two lovely humans, they were adorable! Of course, they sent over a picture of them at Disney, which I have learned is there favorite place on earth. They actually go to Disneyland about once a month! That’s amazing! I grew up obsessed with Disney, so I completely understand!

This love of Disney even influenced Wil’s proposal. He had a handful of plans and ideas to propose while they were on vacation in Florida at Disney World, the favorite being after a fancy dinner, on a hotel’s rooftop overlooking the park while they watched the fireworks.. but they ended up having to deal with a hurricane and all of it’s rain, so things changed a bit. As they were walking back from dinner, they stopped in front of the gates to the Magic Kingdom to take some pictures. They asked a couple of strangers to take their picture and were posing when the fireworks suddenly started. Wil decided that THIS was the perfect moment (fireworks, Christmas music playing, Disney!) and dropped to one knee. Luckily the girl taking their picture caught him reaching into his pocket, so they’ve got the whole thing on video! Absolutely perfect!

Their love of all things Disney is just one of the many things they have in common. The list of their commonalities also includes playing Dungeons and Dragons, video games, and board games. Their love for their cat Bailey is also on the list of things they both love! Most of all, they just love being together and after dating for over seven years they are excited to make this love they have “official” and tie the knot, which will be in December amongst Christmas decorations. After getting to know Wil and Alex a little, I find this as no surprise. We don’t just have the love of Disney in common, we also love Christmas festivities! Zack and I got married in December and had a Christmas theme as well. However, Wil and Alex have Kelsey Nguyen from Forever Enchanted Events as their planner, so I am sure their celebration will be mind blowingly beautiful!

After spending an afternoon with Wil and Alex in Balboa Park, Zack and I just fell in love with them! They are so fun and so easy to talk to! Wil is an attorney and Alex works at a CPA firm as an admin assistant/office manager, and I am sure all of their clients are very grateful that they are such warm, easy-going, down-to-earth, kind people. I am sure their wedding will be filled with so much joy, laughter, and love because what we give, we receive! Congratulations Wil and Alex!
