Peter & Kelsey – La Purisima, City of Orange

To know Kelsey is to love her. She is genuine, warm, completely engaging, and drop-dead gorgeous! It’s no wonder Peter is head over heels in love with her! Kelsey seriously looks like a princess from a fairytale every time I see her and when she and Peter did their engagement pictures, taken by Kristen Booth Photography at Kimberly Crest, she WAS a princess! These pictures were absolutely beautiful and really looked like a dream.

Kelsey chose to design her beautiful, “American” wedding with a fairytale theme as well and it was SPECTACULAR! Being an extremely talented wedding coordinator with her own company Forever Enchanted Events, she went all out and every detail was perfection. She fits so perfectly into any fairytale setting and she just glowed.

Since her handsome groom Peter is Vietnamese, they chose to have have two weddings, so the images here on this blog are from the day before her fairytale wedding, when they had a Catholic Ceremony to honor his family and his heritage. This was such a lovely ceremomy and the priest did such a great job talking to them about the importance of marriage and of loving each other. It was also so wonderful to see the blending of these two families from different parts of the globe who were all united in their love for Peter and Kelsey.

Not only were there beautiful people on both sides of the aisle, but there were some spectacular dresses as well! The national dress of Vietname is an ao dai and Peter’s family members were stunning in these dresses! Zack couldn’t stop taking pictures of these beautifully dressed women in their colorful dresses. Kelsey also wore an ao dai and it was no surprise that she was absolutely lovely.

Before the ceremony we met up with Peter and Kelsey at Peter’s Canyon Regional Park to get some portraits. We had such a great time! They were so relaxed and really enjoying their FIRST wedding day! I am sure that was because Kelsey had everthing in hand since she is such a professional and so gifted at her job. How wonderful to take all of those skills and apply them to her own wedding!

Our time with them was so much fun and was a continuation of the time I had spent with her preparing for this wedding, where she was so gracious and generous in all of our interactions. I was also blessed to have worked on a wedding with her a couple of years ago when she was the coordinator and I was the photographer. She seriously doesn’t change in any situation. Loving, kind, and thoughtful. I couldn’t have asked to work with a more amazing woman.
