Jamey & Osika – Mission Bay Surprise Proposal

Getting proposed to is definitely exciting, but getting proposed to surrounded by phenomenal floral arrangements is an entirely different thing! Having friends like Kelsey from Forever Enchanted Events and Dawn from Forever Enchanted Florals sure came in handy when Jamey made his plans to propose to Osika! These two and their very talented crew did a PHENOMENAL job! They spent countless hours making this surprise proposal absolutely perfect for their friends whom they love. I have seen their work before and everything they produce is just absolute perfection.

Zack and I had been helping shoot a wedding earlier in the day, so when we showed up in the parking lot near Superbloom Cafe and Juice we weren’t exactly sure where they were, but it didn’t take long to find them since we just had to look for the spectacular flower display! Kelsey, Dawn, and their crew had an audience watching them put the whole thing together, which was no surprise at all! Just look at their work! Dawn even put tulips in little indivivual water continers and “planted” them in the sand! Who does that?

As Zack and I sat on the grass pretending to be hanging out in the park, Jamey and Osika’s friends sat up at Superbloom and watched from afar. I started snapping pictures as soon as they were in clear view the swingset and Osika’s reaction was adorable! She knew exactly what was coming as soon as she saw the flowers. With a little coaxing, Jamey got her to sit on the swing and then he dropped to one knee and asked her to be his wife. So romantic! Not long after that, all of their friends and family joined them. What a wonderful group of people! So many hugs and well wishes. They have such a beautiful community! Zack and I were so grateful to have been a part of this amazing event and to be able to capture images for Jamey, Osika, their friends and their family. Congratulations again!

Kelsey is one of the kindest, most gentle souls I have ever met! Of course she would do this for her friends! It would be impossible for her not to!

Osika’s siblings were overjoyed for her and clearly love Jamey!

After the proposal, the gang came down the hill for hugs and well wishes…and lots of pictures!

Osika’s family is Nepalese. Just look at this crew, it’s no wonder she is so beautiful!

It was so special that Jamey knew Osika loves to swing and he planned the whole event just for her!
