Huitron Family – La Jolla Maternity Session

Little Leah was born this week and she is beautiful!  Looking at her family it is not surprising that she would be a lovely baby!  She is also a very blessed baby because she is now a part of this family.  Look how adorable they are in these images; all dressed in pink to celebrate their excitement for a new little girl being added to their family.  Evelyn and Ramon are such wonderful parents and amazing human beings.  Zack and I have known them for years because their eldest son was in the teen ministry with our daughter.  Now he’s all grown up and serving our country as a marine!  So proud of him!

This session was crazy fun!  As we were trying to take pictures under this bridge, a huge group of people gathered for a surprise proposal.  Although we had to hurry and use this spot before the couple arrived and everyone who was hiding would jump out in surprise, and the added distractions of others all over the beach walking under the bridge, this adorable family rolled with the punches!  So patient, loving, and fun!  The kids especially were just wonderful.  Parents always worrry about their kids during photo session being a little crazy, but I don’t mind crazy!  I want the kids to be themselves and have fun.  If I can capture who they really are, that is what makes the images so special.  My daughter Katelyn was with me to watch them as well and the little bugs just had a great time running around the beach and trying their best to touch the water as little as possible.

I must say that Evelyn was amazing during our session!  Even though she had been experiencing contractions (luckily little Leah didn’t come until weeks later) she walked down to the beach, which was actually pretty steep, and then she walked all the way down the beach and even climbed up on a rock to get images!  She was phenomenal and so tough!  This is so typical of mothers, always going the extra mile to do something wonderful for their family, always so sacrificial and loving.  Eveylyn, you truly amaze me and you truly are an example of a phenomenal mom!  Congratulations Huitron family on your newest beautiful little girl!
