There are weddings that are beautiful. Then there are weddings that stay with you long after the last dance. Alec and Amanda’s Kimberly Crest Wedding in Redlands was one of those unforgettable days. Altogether, it felt like a celebration lifted straight from the pages of a fairy tale.

The majestic castle created a breathtaking backdrop for every moment. It was impossible not to see Amanda as the princess she had always dreamed of becoming. As she made her grand entrance, her father lovingly escorted her down the castle steps toward the reflecting pond where Alec waited. With her elegant gown and cathedral veil floated gracefully behind her, the moment left everyone in quiet awe. Yet as stunning as the setting was, the love between these high school sweethearts stole the show.

Although Amanda radiated pure joy toward everyone she spent time with, every smile she shared with Alec reflected years of friendship and unwavering commitment. Also, it was impossible not to notice the excitement in their eyes as they began this new chapter together. Watching them exchange vows surrounded by family and friends reminded everyone that the greatest love stories often begin long before the wedding day.

Alec and Amanda are two of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever had the privilege of photographing. However, their warmth extends far beyond each other. It shines through the incredible families who raised them. After spending the day with their loved ones, it became clear why they are such compassionate and selfless people.

The Love of Family

There were many emotional moments throughout this Kimberly Crest Wedding. One that touched everyone was Alec’s dance with his mother as she courageously battled cancer. It was a powerful reminder that weddings are about so much more than flowers, dresses, or beautiful venues. They are about cherishing the people who have loved us every step of the way. They are about holding tightly to moments that become lifelong memories. Zack and I were deeply moved. It was an honor to witness such a beautiful expression of love, strength, and gratitude.

Family wasn’t simply present on this day. It was woven into every detail of the celebration.

The bridal party included siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Each one stood beside Alec and Amanda as they promised forever. Every detail carried a personal touch. Amanda’s mother created the stunning floral arrangements herself. Overflowing with beautiful foxgloves and lush blooms, they reflected the love and creativity only family can provide.

The heartfelt surprises continued throughout the evening. Amanda’s father and brother performed a beautiful guitar duet during the couple’s first dance. It became one of the most intimate moments of the day. Later, siblings shared heartfelt toasts filled with laughter, treasured memories, and words of encouragement. Accordingly, there was hardly a dry eye in the room.
