Spending time with Brandon and Alyssa was just an absolute joy! They were incredibly sweet and super excited to finally be at their engagement session. These sessions really make the upcoming wedding seem real! I must admit I was a bit nervous about trying to fit Balboa Park AND Coronado Beach into a 90-minute session, but we did it! Although I tried to talk them out of choosing these two locations because they would lose some of their time in the transition, I can completely see why they wanted to shoot at each spot. San Diego is so beautiful, so why not get in as much as you can?! I am so pleased this worked out for them. They are truly worth the hustle we put in to make this work.
Zack wasn’t available to go with me to this session so I took Olivia, my little photographer in training. We had such a wonderful time getting to know these two amazing people! They were such naturals at posing and they didn’t need any prompting when it came to smiling, snuggling, smooching, and giggling. They were so comfortable with each other, which I am sure has come from their seven years of dating! They weren’t always together during those years because they went to school in different states, but they are clearly thrilled to be living near each other again and planning their wedding. Who can blame them?
Brandon and Alyssa clearly see the beauty in each other, which is going to make for a beautiful marriage! Alyssa noted that what she loves most about Brandon is, “his caring heart. He would do anything for the people around him, even if it took a toll on him. He is selfless in the love that he gives to people, which he gives unconditionally. He is my biggest supporter.” I love to hear things like this! It was so apparent how right Alyssa was in her assessment of her beloved. He treated her like a princess throughout the whole session and he really enjoyed the time we spent creating these beautiful pictures they get to share together forever.
It was also no surprise when Brandon shared about Alyssa and said, “What I love most about her is knowing we both have the same sense of humor and how much we can relate in things and make the best of any situation of life. The best thing about loving her is that I can be myself and know that she will listen to my heart and understand what I do for work and always support me.” I must say…these two are meant for each other. Loving, kind, thoughtful, and full of life and joy! Congratulations Brandon and Alyssa!
