Good things come to those who wait! At least that is absolutely true for Charlie and Christine. Although they had been engaged years earlier, it just wasn’t their time and they needed to put the relationship on the back burner. Years passed but they remained friends. When Christine moved out of state for her job, that is when Charlie felt the loss of her presence and realized he was still in love with her. It didn’t take much longer until Christine had a similar realization and moved back to San Diego. At the time of this photo session they were a couple of weeks away from their wedding and all the years were as if nothing now that they were committed to spending their lives together and enjoying this new life together.
Zack and I had a wonderful evening getting to know them better and we were so encouraged when they invited us out to dinner after our session at the beach in Coronado! We have known Christine for years since we have been a part of the Youth and Family ministry team and both of her wonderful children were a part of that ministry and we worked directly with them. However, we had never really met Charlie. We soon discovered that he has such a gentle soul and a child-like heart and we truly had a lovely date night with both of them.
Charlie and Christine, Zack and I wish you all of the happiness in the world. We know it is never easy when two families blend together, but you have the character and the strength to make it work. It is so obvious how much you love each other and how much you appreciate this second chance at a life together. Congratulations!
