On wedding days, taking pictures of the bride and groom is always my favorite part of the day…but this was SPECIAL!  I got to spend TWO hours with Nick and Laney in Balboa Park and my photography love bank was filled to the brim!  Just getting to spend time with these two is always a blessing because they are so encouraging and filled with love and joy.  They are genuinely interested in the people they are near and I just love talking to them because you know they are truly listening and they are completely present in your conversation.  That makes it difficult sometimes to take pictures of them because I just want to talk to them!

Unfortunately, the COVID outbreak forced these two amazing people to cancel their January wedding where they had rented a beautiful Airbnb to celebrate with their closest family members and friends.  Luckily, they were able to have a small ceremony on the beach, within the sand dunes of Coronado at the end of December and it was lovely.  I am so impressed that even though I can tell they were a little disappointed that they didn’t get their big wedding day, they took it all with grace and understanding and no bitterness or resentment.  They are such amazing people and have such a godly persepective!  I have so much respect for them!

As you look through these images I hope you notice another one of my favorite part of this session…the way Nick looked at Laney!  It is just so obvious how much he adores her and how precious she is to him!  I don’t blame him one bit!  She is such a treasure!  That just makes them perfect for each other because Nick is quite the catch!  They are both so fun and full of life and so beloved by so many.  It really warms my heart to see them together and know they are made for one another.  We love you two so much and wish you all the love in the world!
