I feel totally blessed to have been a small part of Briel’s senior experience.  Look at this girl!  She is gorgeous!  These shots were taken in the Japanese Friendship Garden at Balboa Park and it was a super crowded day since the cherry blossoms were blooming.  However, in the midst of it all, a man came up to me asking if she was a famous model.  I completely understand where he was coming from!

Briel is a spectacular dancer and I know this from personal experience…I watched her dance for several years alongside my daughter at both a private dance studio in Eastlake called The Dance Spot and also at Eastlake High School on the dance team, which is called Eastlake Dance Company.  At Eastlake High, she earned a spot on the Elite Team for all four of her years on campus!  She brought an immense amount of energy and SASS to all of her dances.  However, when you talk to her she is amazingly sweet and humble.  Such an wonderful combination of beauty both inside and out.

She was not only an athlete but a scholar too…in both English AND Spanish!  She graduated with a Seal of Bilingualism and looked lovely wearing a Dual Language Immersion scarf during graduation.  Briel also was also a National Honors High School Scholar.  In her spare time, she loves being with her dog Jobee who she has had since she was four years old as well as hanging out with friends and family, going to the beach, and watching Netflix movies.

Next year she’ll be attending San Francisco State, to earn a degree in Journalism/Online Print and Media and then planning to pursue a career in broadcasting.  Congratulations Briel!  We all know you are going to be amazingly successful at whatever you set your mind to!
